Agnes Chiu
Veterinarian (Bachelor of Veterinary Science (Honours I) Member of Australian College of Veterinary Scientists (Small Animal Surgery) Certified PennHIP member AQIS accredited veterinarian)
Agnes graduated from the University of Sydney with First Class Honours in 2004. She started working at Casula Vet Hospital / Elizabeth Drive Animal Hospital in 2006 before leaving us for a year for the surgical internship with Dr Tony Black at the Veterinary Specialist Centre. After completing her internship, she returned to us in 2008 and became a certified member of PennHIP and also acquired her Membership of Australian College of Veterinary Scientists in Small Animal Surgery by examination in 2010. Also, she has obtained accreditation from the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry so that she can help preparing export of companion animals overseas.
In addition to veterinary science and small animal surgery in particular, Agnes also likes technology and computing. She combined her interests in both fields and produced an education CD-ROM on veterinary anaesthesia with Dr Christina Dart at the University Veterinary Centre, Camden as a study aid for the undergraduate students.
She enjoys classical music and also spending time with the family and friends especially her naughty dog, Sonny. Agnes is fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese), can also understand Mandarin.

Xiao Lu
Veterinarian (Veterinarian (Bachelor of Veterinary Biology (Honours I) & Doctor of Veterinary Medicine), Current Doctor of Philosophy (Science) student.)
Xiao completed her degree of BVB (Hons I) and DVM at the Sydney School of Veterinary Science, University of Sydney in Dec 2022 and have joined Casula Veterinary Hospital since 2023. She is also a current PhD student whose topic is on canine leptospirosis. While companion animal welfare and evidence-based primary care remain her major interested, she is also devoted to applying epidemiological methodology onto animal welfare research.
Xiao loves bush walks and other outdoor activities for her free time. Right now she lives with two cats, Moss and Cooper, who she adopted at one of her DVM placement sites. Moss doesn’t like her photos taken but Xiao managed to get a cute photo of her!

Sam Pang

Sam Pang graduated with a Diploma of Health Sciences from the University of South Australia before completing his BVB/DVM at the University of Sydney. With certifications in the Fear Free veterinary program and RECOVER CPR animal life support, Sam is dedicated to ensuring a calm and safe environment for his patients.
Sam is particularly interested in small animal surgery and imaging studies, and he is always looking to broaden his knowledge and skills in these fields. He speaks English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, which helps him effectively communicate with a wide range of clients.
Outside of his professional life, Sam enjoys playing basketball, badminton, and rugby. He is a cat and dog lover and has adopted two rabbits named Charlie and Eeyore.

Amy has a full house with 3 dogs, 5 cats! She has a Maltese cross dog, a Pomeranian who requires a lot of dog dental care & an American Staffordshire Terrier. All her 5 cats are Domestics which she adopted through our Cat Adoption Program. She is very much cat person as she always falls in love with every little kitten that comes through the door. She is also the main carer of our 2 hospital cats, William & Edward, who have Amy wrapped around their little paws!

Jordan joined the veterinary nursing team here at Casula and Elizabeth Drive Animal Hospitals in 2015. After completing high school on the NSW South Coast, Jordan moved to Canberra to complete a Bachelor of Midwifery but eventually decided that human medicine was not the right fit. She then went on to complete a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing through TAFE.
Jordan enjoys all aspects of surgical and medical nursing as well as a particular interest in owner education. She is mum to a beautiful chocolate Labrador named Addie, and a domestic short hair named Mumma (who she adopted through our Cat Adoption Centre at Elizabeth Drive).
When she isn't at work, she likes to spend time seeing friends and family, go out to cafes and restaurants and have movie nights.

Head Nurse
Jordan joined the veterinary nursing team here at Casula and Elizabeth Drive Animal Hospitals in 2015. Katie has been working in the veterinary industry since 2013. Graduated from Bankstown tafe in 2014. She enjoys learning about pet nutrition but has a special industry in small animal dentistry.
Katie has 1 dog- Milly, a cavoodle and 2 ragdolls Harley and Tammy, does not currently own any birds but have always had a passion for avian medicine.
Katie has done lots of foster work for multiple charities having a real interest in rescue and rehoming. Katie enjoys spending time with the family and playing volleyball on the weekends.

Taylah Tring
Veterinary Nurse (Veterinary Nursing Cert IV)
Taylah completed Certificate II in Animal Studies in 2020. She worked in multiple jobs within the animal industry, and joined Casula Veterinary Hospital in 2022 while completing her studies to become a veterinary nurse.
At the end of 2022 Taylah became a qualified veterinary nurse.
Taylah has two dogs. One Cattle Dog X called Willow and a Labrador called Ollie who loves going to the beach and going on bush walks. Taylah also has a domestic short hair called Mauie and has fallen in love with our hospital cat Jasper who she would love to adopt in the future.

Veterinary Nurse
Maria, graduated in veterinary medicine from Uniritter University in Brazil in 2020. After graduation, she specialized in small animal ultrasound. While Maria is waiting to sit the Veterinary exams in Australia she is working as a veterinary nurse.
She loves studying and reading books about veterinary medicine. She is passionate about small animals and wildlife.
Maria has five dogs: Wamp (a yorkshire mix), Laica and Chorão (boxers), and Guerreiro and Serena (Australian Cattle dogs). They live on her parents farm.

Nicole has been working as a veterinary nurse since June 2009. Her particular interest are Surgical, Medicine and Neonatal care.
Nicole has one dog named Sheba kelpie x breed and Chancey a Domestic short hair who she adopted through our Cat Adoption Centre. She also has many tropical fish. Nicole doesn't have many hobbies but she loves swimming and outdoors activities and she is currently trying to develop a green thumb in the garden with a small amount of success!
